Horrible trip by rosesaenz71

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Carnival Panorama / Destination: Mexico

This was my first cruise and probably my last. I booked through this site only because of the options of boarding credit or a gift card or cash. I never received anything regarding how to redeem my options until a week before my cruise and by then it was too late i was told the was nothing they could do. Never again will I use this site.

Amazing entertainment!!! by SterlingFamily

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Inspiration / Destination: Mexico

I would recommend getting a window. Or get a balcony if you like fresh air. This will help prevent getting sea sick. Eating an apple also helps!

Pleasantly Surprised by sacteach

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Carnival Inspiration / Destination: Mexico

I've been on many cruises, about 17. This was my first time on Carnival. I was skeptical because I always heard Carnival was too much a "party" boat with loud and unruly passengers. I also heard the service might not be up to par. I was pleasantly surprised to find quite the opposite. The food and service from the staff was top notch! The atmosphere was "fun" and there were so many activities for my kids. I loved all the food options. Overall, the cruise was great! We will most definitely being sailing with Carnival again!

Most of the journey was great except for the noise level in the room.

Great staff, terrible buffet, fantastic live music, too many people and continual up-sell! by boberp15187309

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Joy / Destination: Mexico

Probably okay for most but NCL’s free-style approach, mega ship and continual up-selling was not for us.

NCL - How you have fallen by CruiseAlways1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Norwegian Joy / Destination: Mexico

NCL is not what it used to be. The Joy is a big reason. Where is the Norwegian I used to love? As a long time NCL customer I had a number of issues with this ship and changes NCL has made. We were given a 50 pictures for 500 dollars deal which is way more expensive than in the past but we also knew we were getting a 30% discount so we thought 350 is not too bad. So after spending 2 hours to pick out the 50 we liked best they told us we could not use our picture rewards program on this deal. We walked away - NCL lost 350 dollars and we lost our pictures. Who wins on this? Also - Their Cruise Next staff are about as aggressive as they come. 5 times I said I only wanted to spend 150 dollars for a 250 credit on my next cruise. They pushed so hard they were practically calling me stupid and even falsely told me I cannot buy a single 250 credit. I was so frustrated I stopped working with the first sales rep and moved to another. And the new one used the same aggressive tactics. Finally, We noticed our balcony and the dinner tables much more compact and tight. As if NCL wanted to save money by shrinking the non-income providing areas. And there is a fee for many activities that used to be free. And those fees are very high. Where have you gone NCL? I want you back!

Christmas Cruisin on the Miracle by leslie7NV

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Miracle / Destination: Mexico

I was already planning on which cruise I want to take next, before we had even left the ship. An amazing time of not having to worry about anything except which fabulous dining experience I wanted to have. I caught up on about 6 months of lost sleep. What a great way to disconnect from your cares for a bit of time.

Didn’t receive credit on sail and sign that I was told I would receive. by phestily

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Miracle / Destination: Mexico

When I booked my grand suite room on the cruise, I was told I would receive a $150.00 on my sail and sign card, and I did not. I notified the guest services and they were rude and did nothing to fix the issue.

Nice but crowded by dgmc

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Joy / Destination: Mexico

In my opinion for many the cruise will be just fine but I prefer not to wait in lines and not be overcrowded and not be required to make reservations for anything that you want to do. Its so much work to reserve restaurants and shows and be disappointed when they are sold out. that said the staff accommodated us for sold out shows but we happen to complain I imagine many people didn't see shows because they thought they were sold out

I would recommend more organization at SAN Pedro Pier. More communication with passengers about wait times.

No Activities or Production Shows by Akay4401

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Oosterdam / Destination: Mexico

The cruise provided us with a good weeklong getaway. But, there was little to do well on board. The cruise director did very little to make a weeklong holiday cruise special. It was Christmas and Hanukkah week. There could have been a holiday-themed production show on the main stage. The holidays were acknowledged in the daily printed schedule of activities, but that was all.

Amazing first family holiday cruise! by q17293387

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Carnival Panorama / Destination: Mexico

It was an amazing experience. With a large group, a cruise lets everyone do their thing but yet still be a unit. Would definitely do it again. If you have a kid, it may be more difficult to do the evening activities.

Cruise was good. Food was good, service was very good. Would like to have more activities available on ship that we can do as a family, but for 3-day it was fine

Great First Time Cruise by Kilonovember

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Grand Princess / Destination: Mexico

We got a good price and upgrade within the same class of staterooms when we booked through . Our first cruise turns out to exceed our expectations. Other agents may have offered rebates or on board benefits , but if we come across similar discounts with upgrades for our future trips, it may be worth sticking with .

“Frozen” by Niki30

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Grand Princess / Destination: Mexico

Inside ship temperature was kept at a 63 degree. It was very cold to the point that we had to keep our winter jackets on. The inside pool was heated but my child was uncomfortable using it due to the cold air. Will not cruise on Princess again.
