Cabin type: Inside

Cabin number: C232

Review summary

Inside ship temperature was kept at a 63 degree. It was very cold to the point that we had to keep our winter jackets on. The inside pool was heated but my child was uncomfortable using it due to the cold air. Will not cruise on Princess again.

Ship tip

The ship was kept at a very cold temps tute that made our dinning experience extremely uncomfortable. Our food was excellent but kept warm for seconds. Other guests complained about the coldness. We left the SF winter to be warm, instead we froze. Mid ship and the piazza was unbearable cold. Wearing winter jacket inside the ship on a 10 day Mexican riviera was not acceptable.

Romantikcruiser I agree. I have cruised princess in December with no problem. And not the cruise lines fault for weather...lol at this

We decided not to cruise Mexican Riviera in December because the weather isnt warm enough for us. Rain is also a possibility at this time. My advice would be to wait until January or check itinerarys in the Caribbean. Maybe Hawaii? Look at the average temperature charts online before you book.

I guess it depends on where you are from what cold is. I'm from Chicago so 63 is a wonderful temperature, my house is only kept at 68 all winter. When we see 60 degrees, coats are off and we're thinking about shorts! I would never let something this trivial affect my cruise. Throw on some layers and start enjoying the activities.

You mean that during the winter when a major storm was hitting the west coast it was cold? ... I’m shocked I tell you!!! SHOCKED!!! ... and of course when you told the front desk that the temperature was too cold that they totally ignored you...no wonder you won’t cruise with Princess... uhm...you did call the front desk to fix the problem didn’t you? But I’m being silly...of course you let them know how unhappy you were everyday the temps stayed too cool...no one would spend an entire cruise miserable and do nothing...oh well...we’ll miss you on the San Francisco cruises
