The cruise ship has cut back on its food and service. Did not bother to check guests’ vaccination status. By the last five days of the cruise, people were coughing and many came down with Covid.

The ship was full so it didn't make sense to only have one side of the buffet open. Everytime we ate there we were pushed and shoved and often people were coughing without covering their mouths. It felt like a cattle drive and was way over crowded. Seating was difficult to find and often had to wait for eating utensils. The dining rooms were better after they worked out the quirks. The first night we had reservations for 5:40 but had to wait in line until 7:30 while they were letting quests without reservations in. This happened twice and then we changed dining rooms and had a better experience. The food and the service in the dining room was excellent

Would definitely recommend Princess Cruise. Highlight: the wonderful cold soups. Wonderful.

Cruise was fine, but several restaurants were closed making it a long wait at some to be served. Specialty restaurants were great. There were staff shortages which also played a part in long waits in dining. Was disappointed that all restaurants were not open and for this reason felt like we were not served as well as we should have been for the price payed for this cruise.

Great cruise, small ship but nice staff and great food, some limited dining and entertainment due to limited capacity. Hawaii was the most beautiful place I have ever visited.

I am a frequent cruiser with NCL. This was the Worst cruise I have ever been on and the overpriced.

This was our 11th cruise and definitely the worst due to awful entertainment and the wait staff.

If you take this cruise remember its the destination not the ship. The ship is not good so don't expect much. Cruise staff is horrible. Not a friendly face in the bunch . We were warned before we left but I just couldn't believe NCL hired unfriendly people. But we saw for ourselves that this is true. Pick a different ship. You were warned.

We anticipated a relaxing get away and that’s what we got. We can’t wait to take another cruise on the Royal Princess. It is especially nice since we live in the San Francisco Bay Area, so it is very convenient for us.

Big ship but never felt crowded. Lots of entertainment variety. Food good and drinks were plentiful. Medallion App usually worked well, but was slow at times.

The cruise was good starting out. It was very cold not what I expected. Did not like most of the ports had to book an excursion. If you wanted to get anywhere, this would’ve been better if the ports were more toward town and not in shipping areas.

NCL needs to do better with this cruise. This trip should be OVER THE TOP. ONE OF A KIND. Spend some money and get this ship up to date. If it were not for the Islands I would have hated my time on the ship.

The cruise was disappointing. Glad we went but would not go on a cruise here again. Would plan time at each island and fly to the destinations/Islands, rent a car, see what I want.

As noted about, we were very disappointed with Norwegian. We understand staffing is an issue but when we paid extra for some amenities and didn't get them we were vary disappointed.

This was supposed to be a once in a lifetime Bucket List trip. On any other cruise line it probably would have been. We were informed (11 days prior to departure) that they would be limiting services onboard (specialty restaurants closed, dining room only open for dinner, etc.) with not indication of re-imbursement for reduced services. When I inquired about this with guest services onboard, I was put off by the manager and told no offers would be made. You can see by my comments above, how the cruise turned out.

Great itinerary. I was expecting more from Princess. Maybe the ship was too old. And maybe because we have a lot to compare with. We had a good time anyway.

The cruise was amazing. Getting home was a nightmare. Will book my own flight next time and not go through the cruise line.

Find a different ship or upgrade its level of quality.

Service was excellent -a bit disappointed in food . Expecting more Hawaiian dishes or a Luau . Came home with a rough case of Covid but at least it didn’t happen during the cruise . Several rooms on our floor were locked in for days I felt so bad for them .

EMBARKTATION WAS AWFUL!!! PRINCESS DROPPED THE BALL BY NOT NOTIFYING PASSENGERS OF THE PORT CHANGE. PRINCESS STAFF WAS NOT HELPFUL AND DID NOT ACCOMADATE US AS HANDICAPPED ALTHOUGH OUR PROFILE INDICATED WE NEEDED 2 WHEELCHAIR TRANSPORTS. THE PORT AUTHORITY WAS SIMPLY HORRENDOUS AND ONLY PROVIDED 6 PORTERS. ONE PRINCESS STAFFER TOLD US WE HAD TO TRANSPORT OUR OWN BAGS (4) AND PUSH OUR AMBULATORY AND WALK WITH CANES. I ALSO OVERED SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS OF PRODUCT FROM THE SPA AND HAVE NOT RECEIVED IT-ALTHOUGH PRINCESS HAS CHARGED ME FOR THE PRODUCTS. DON’T THINK I WILL EVER TRAVEL PRINCESS AGAIN UNLESS SOMETHING CHANGES. I WANT MY MONEY REFUNDED FOR THE SPA PRODUCTS I ORDEERED AND HAVE NOT RECEIVED!!!
