Mediterranean Cruise by cbltx

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Silhouette / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

Overall, we had a great time. The cruise offered more than we expected. I liked the ease of having the excursions planned, as well as the options for dinner and entertainment. We would definitely chose a cruising for vacation again in the future.

Wouderfull expirence by hualeizhang2003

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Silhouette / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

Everything is perfect, except that the customer relation should not be so close to the dancing party area everyday, which is too noisy. The shultter in bus is too expensive Marseille (Provence), France. Did not give a good sugestion on haw to get the railway station. In Villefranche-Sur-Mer, France While disembarking, seems not as good as boarding. The free shutte was too slow or too less. The bus to Roma is more than 3 times than than from the Civitavecchia's tous bus.

Nice cruise by ljharmon84

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Seven Seas Voyager / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

This was my first time with Regent and we enjoyed it very much. Yes, there were things I would definitely change but overall it was lovely. For the price there should be no hiccups. Hope they will work on some of these areas. I really like the smaller ship concept & will only do this in the future.

Best of the Western Med by patsmith47987

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Celebrity Reflection / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

My first Celebrity Cruise was overall a good experience. Would like better shows. Otherwise activities were good. I would like to see more of a price break when traveling alone. I understand the price of the room, however, I feel there should be a price break for meals.

Sirena Keeps Getting Better! by GeorgesMom

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Sirena / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

This was our second cruise aboard Sirena and not our last - we are so happy with the ship (and the company) that we have three more cruises scheduled over the next year and a half. This was our second Mediterranean cruise, selected for the ports and time of year, and we loved seeing a mix of old favorite ports and brand-new ones.

Best run Ship by perez98

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Jade / Destination: Europe - Western Europe

Destinations were scenic but just ok (except for Edinburgh-that was very nice, although the price of the "Edinburgh on your own" bus was too high- better off with a taxi next time) Great staff. Well run ship. We had lots of fun. Miss them already!

Massive. Too massive? by movinmovin

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Getaway / Destination: Europe - Northern Europe

Its a wonderful selection of cities and I highly recommend. Pace is fast to take it all in. This is not a truly relax and getaway (pun) schedule. That said the same cruise on a smaller ship would be nicer. Remember that 2-3 ships dock at each port disgorging around 8000-10000 passengers at same moment into these small towns. It really takes away from the charm. Knew this ahead of time but the reality is something to see.

Great ports just an OK ship by gaforte

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Star / Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

Good cruise ports. Was not crazy about the overall experience on the ship. I think you can find a much better experience for the cost of this cruise.

Eye Opening by SBY

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Epic / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

Some advise for NCL management. Something you should always remember about customer service, it takes more than having your staff address guests as sir or madam or have them say good morning or good evening to every guest they see. That is all well and good, but it has to go further than that to truly be Customer Service, there has to be sincerity and empathy towards someone with an issue, not just a pat response to what they think you are going to ask them or what they have been told to say with a tinge of annoyance in their voices. Give your staff an opportunity to have personalities and not be robots.

Good Trip but don't plan on using the internet too much by marianne573

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Norwegian Epic / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

The stops were great and so much to take in and see. Boat was okay but we were disappointed in the food and dining for 75% of the time. Didn't have time to use spa but it looked nice. Internet was a big issue or lack thereof.

Great trip overall. We enjoyed the excursions, entertainment. The food was very good. We wish we would have frequented the dining room more often than we did.

Terrific Mediterranian Cruise by snoangl123

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Epic / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

My husband and I cruise at least once a year. Our favorite line is NCL. We really enjoy the freestyle dining as well as NCL's entertainment. I do like some of their other ships more than the Epic but we thoroughly enjoyed this cruise.

Great Cruise, Great Ports by pp77gg

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Freedom of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

This was my 5th cruise on Royal Caribbean. The Freedom of the Seas ship was a big improvement over my other ships. I chose this cruise for the destinations and was not disappointed. The WaveRunner was amazing to watch. Very nice to have a basketball/soccer court plus the min-golf.

Warning Americans this cruise is not for you by jasonmorel

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Preziosa / Destination: Europe - Northern Europe

Don't ever use the cruise line.. carnival is even better than this mess. We were at least 2 hours late to each port and they did not extend our excursions at all and we can screwed on each excursion and only gave us 10% off when we lost sometimes 40-50% of the excursion time... just awful! .

Do research and Think twice before you book with MSC by mrsttn

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: MSC Preziosa / Destination: Europe - Northern Europe

Not worth your money. From day 1 to day 7, this is a chaotic, unfriendly, and boring cruise I have ever been on. I am told there were only 66 Americans on this cruise. They treat the European citizens different from treating the English and non- EU counties such as the Americans. They kept our passports and we all had to stand in separate lines. People on this cruise cut in line at buffet, at drink stations, at waiting lines to get on or off the ship. Imagine you are standing at the buffet line next to your party, and all of the sudden, a human arm poked in from behind you, and under your armpit with their own fork/spoon sometimes, to pick up the food you are about to pick up for yourself and not even say "excuse me". Isn't that frightening?? And if you don't keep up the pace with the rest of the line, someone will cut in and separate you from your party on a daily basis. Now that I am home and have some time to reflect on this cruise, I regret having made the choice to be on MSC. I hope you will do your homework carefully before taking any cruise on MSC.
