Review summary

My first Celebrity Cruise was overall a good experience. Would like better shows. Otherwise activities were good. I would like to see more of a price break when traveling alone. I understand the price of the room, however, I feel there should be a price break for meals.

Overall very good. Would have liked more fish options earlier in the cruise in the dining room. Crab crusted flounder was not good at all. The Buffet was consistently good. Ice cream machine did not work the entire cruise. Sometimes the lemonade and the ice tea were out. Some of the drink machines were not labeled so you didn't know what it was. would like smaller spoons by the ice cream and desserts.

Acts that were brought on the ship were very good - John and Paul was the best show. Magic show was good as well. Ms. Maiden was good. The rest were just average.

Service and Staff

excellent service from the room steward and the waiters. Absolutely, no complains - they were wonderful. Though, guest relations was a challenge when an excursion was cancelled - we were rebooked but had to go back several times to get the difference in cost refunded. For $15 it was quite the run around and disappointing - not very good customer service until the manager was there.

Bring your own shampoo, conditioner and body wash as what is supplied is not very good.

Interesting comment. You would like a price break on the free meals that come with a cruise booking? or a discount on the per person specialty restaurant meals? or ???
