Beautiful Trip! Loved it. by sjtravels61

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Norwegian Dawn

We really enjoyed our vacations. I think in the future if it is a long day in port, might try to do some of the private tours over the boats excursions - typically too short - would love to see more of the coast / country sides.

When Can I Go Back? by jeanniemaria73

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Norwegian Dawn

I highly recommend this particular cruise for adults. Because there isn't much time on the ship and there is a lot of bus time and history, small ones might become bored quickly. The other option would be to keep them on board during the days to take advantage of the ship activities, but then one of the adults would lose out on the ports. For those adults not interested in history and educational tours like us, there are plenty of opportunities on shore to hike, bike, shop, or try local cuisine and bars.

Beautiful ship with a nice itinerary. Management staff needs a lot of work by Celtic23

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Le Champlain

This was an absolutely gorgeous ship, with only about 120 passengers aboard. We loved our room and all of the support staff on the ship. Because of the attitude of the management and the poor food quality I would choose a different line for my next cruise.

Wonderful ship but something was missing by uaja

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Seven Seas Splendor

The ship is great. The ports were ok, but if you have already been to Europe many times, they were nothing special. We missed the little things that we present pre-Covid. Like the welcome back with water, tea and a towel. The Maître who used to know your name and what you liked. Yes, the wait staff was good and friendly, but it was just missing that something that is hard to put in words.

Fantastic itinerary by katbow57

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Star

Itinerary was great. Too many tender stops but that is not the cruise line's fault. MDR food was lacking in taste and speed, Specialty dining was good. Was really surprised about how great the weather was in Ireland.

Great Luck with Weather by nomole

Lucked out due to high pressure over Ireland. Great way to see so many Irish locals. Itinerary of this cruise was big factor in choosing. Very satisfied with lifetime memories made!

A Beautiful and Romantic Visit to Impressionist France by ktravis85633836

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Star Legend

I was celebrating my birthday and of course, the wait staff knew and surprised me with Happy Birthday and a cake at dinner. To top it off, when we went back to our cabin there were balloons and decorations and rose petals and Happy Birthday signs. Could not have asked for more!

Less than exciting by Crawdaddy

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Dawn

Overall would not recommend this cruise. I'd classify it as sleepy and somewhat boring onboard. Shopping on board was very limited, and besides being extremely overpriced the merchandise was either junk or outrageously expensive. T-shirts in the gift shop were from Caribbean destinations and not from ports of call for this cruise.

Iceland for Floridians by pwohlrab

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Jewel of the Seas

Nice place in the world to visit. Solid safe ship even in rough seas. Outstanding crew from cabin steward Vanesa, to the folks at the Helm in high winds and really large seas. Great job!

Worst cruise ever by ckrugerfl

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple

2nd time on an NCL cruise, might be the last time. If we had known about all the challenges and issues, we would not have taken this cruise.

First Ireland trip for NCL for the season and it showed. by albot3138

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Star

Cabin position on the ship was a real issue. Front desk staff had no authority to make any changes. Took a while to get managers attention to the issue. It got resolved but took better part of two days. Too bad. Cruise was the first NCL visit to Ireland for the season and it showed in preparation. Worst was the first stop where there were no buses or taxis to accommodate 1000+ disembarking passengers, who all desire to visit Waterford. NCL will learn and I am sure will fix these problems in upcoming trips. The entertainment onboard was definitely a cut above normal NCL level. Very high class in both music and shows.
