Celebrity Reflection was a beautiful ship full of many activities and a great food selection by clf917

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Celebrity Reflection

My first time cruise with Celebrity will not be my last. From the beautiful decor and activities to the amazing food selections including healthy nutrition options, we couldn't have asked for much more. The Captain of the ship was involved in many aspects of the cruise including putting on his owne rock and roll show. The ports were beautiful even though the weather didn't always cooperate. The Celebrity communication regarding embarkation and disembarkation made for a seemless journey.

Overall, the cruise would rate a 4 of 10. MSC can do a lot around communications and updates though to improve their overall customer experience. by mcintosr

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: MSC Seashore

We are experience cruisers - with well over 300 nights at sea. MSC, while new to the US market, is not new to cruising or providing a service. There were several hiccups that could have been avoided with better communication. MSC has yet to send us a survey - which implies a lot about customer viewpoints. The embarkation experience set the tone for the cruise. While aspects of the food were good, the buffet was mediocre, at best. MSC could do a lot better with their port times too.

Not the best cruise we have had with Carnival by sheilasprague

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Pride

Our first cruise was on Pride and we loved it but this cruise on Pride was a let down. Skip, the cruise director on our first time was fantastic and actually mingled with the passengers and made things fun. Christian was okay but not very present.

Just Ok by daddycats

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Reflection

Would really like it if the Solarium pool was warmed just a little bit, this goes for the entire Royal Caribbean/Celebrity fleet. Maybe the crew just get a kick watching to passengers grimace when they first try to enter the water.

Was Pretty Good, but... by davik62

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Regal Princess

Missed Cayman Islands, and had early return to Galveston, then went back to sea to sit for the night. No offer of refund or compensation.

Worst NCL cruise we've ever been on! by BrigetteW

Ship: Norwegian Epic

We will never cruise NCL ever again, and will share this experience to hopefully stop others from spending thousands and having such a horrible cruise.

Some good some bad by gorad24

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Norwegian Breakaway

The food and drinks were good. But I would never do this itinerary again. 2 of the 4 ports were awful unless you booked an excursion. The cruise line needs a better chat service so that you can find your party on the ship without needing WiFi to do it. Even the customer service folks said don’t bother paying for their chat service because it didn’t work. Will try a different cruise line for my next trip. If you are traveling with a group which we were you need to have some way of booking your dinner and show reservations together. We worked it out but it took being on a group call with the cruise line to do it.

Amazing trip by JohnJohn33

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Wonder of the Seas

Our family had a wonderful time on the Wonder of the Seas, the food, shows, ship, Royal Caribbean employees were nothing short of amazing! I certainly would recommend this ship to others if they're looking to take a cruise. Also, this is an amazing ship for families and there is so much for everyone and it is certainly safe to let your children be free to do what they'd like and allowing for the adults to have time of their own

Disappointing, not worth the money spent at all by jhawi

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: MSC Seashore

The recommendations were hyped too much that the expectations were high. Getting on and off the ship were the worst experience one can have. 4-5 hours to be able to get on the ship. No management or staff engagement to keep passengers of the progress being made. Waiting outside the ramp on the port was like someone is begging to get on something, no appreciated we paid a lot of money for this pre-Christmas trip to find nothing by disappointment with food choices and options and ability to get the food without people crossing over you. The weather was not helping to enjoy a cruise when rain is in the picture and end up missing out on even seeing the destination cruise stop. Definitely, not worth thinking about getting on MSC again.

People we met was awesome. Ship NCL Epic was awful by chuckreed

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Epic

I was glad to be on vacation and not have to work, but the ship itself was very disappointing. This ship needs to be taken out of commission or downsize the amount of people by about 1500 so you can maybe enjoy the ship. Again the venue is too small for the amount of people on the ship

The ABSOLUTE WORSE CRUISE we have ever taken!!! by amadamia21

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: MSC Divina

We cruise atleast 3 times per year and this was our first time taking MSC. It was the Christmas cruise from hell!! Spent alot of money for our family to go and everything was a disaster! Boarding took 8 hours, food was school cafeteria quality, service was shameful with the staff constantly making you feel they were doing you a favor! Lines at customer service were never-ending and wait time atleast an hour! Entertainment was sub-standard. We were on a Christmas cruise and the decorated trees were a joke….imagine plastic trees, no lights, 2 boxes of cheap balls! Words can’t describe the disappointment of this cruise!

A bad cruise day is better than a good work day by ChrisBGA

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Norwegian Epic

In summary, the EPIC has tainted 12 years of loyalty for us with NCL. We have absolutely loved every other ship. We do prefer the Breakaway + ships - but have loved every other cruise we've been on with NCL. That said, I'll reiterate the title of the review - a bad day on a cruise ship beats a good day at work. We love NCL - we love the Haven, and will continue to choose them. After we sent a message to NCL shoreside leadership, they took good care of us so nothing to complain about there. In the Haven, our Concierge (Aza) and Butler (Dennis) were amazing. The Cruise Director (Daniel) is also incredible. I don't recommend the EPIC - but I do recommend Norwegian.

A Wonder indeed! by zorij

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Wonder of the Seas

This is not only the world's biggest ship, but also probably the most beautiful one so far. You can't really tell you are on a ship; it is just as a 5* resort, there is so much to do if you wish and also so many places where you can find peace and quiet. Absolutely loved it! Hope we get to do it again. Thank you RCI for making this a memorable experience and extra special Christmas holiday!
