The food and drinks were good. But I would never do this itinerary again. 2 of the 4 ports were awful unless you booked an excursion. The cruise line needs a better chat service so that you can find your party on the ship without needing WiFi to do it. Even the customer service folks said don’t bother paying for their chat service because it didn’t work. Will try a different cruise line for my next trip. If you are traveling with a group which we were you need to have some way of booking your dinner and show reservations together. We worked it out but it took being on a group call with the cruise line to do it.
Embarkation
2 out of 5
Chaotic and disorganized
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Main dining rooms were pretty good. Specialty steak was very good. Buffets are not my thing but the food was hot and good.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Pool slide had a lot of people get stuck so did not try it. Hot tubs were loaded with kids. No dedicated adults only pool even in the adults only area so didn’t get in but used loungers on other decks to relax.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The 2 shows offered were very good.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Waiters were very nice but had a difficult time remembering to bring drinks and refills during all meals. Room steward was very nice and did a good job keeping our room cleaned and stocked. Bartenders were slammed but did a good job of keeping up.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Ship was clean and well kept.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Room was nice and had plenty of space for the 2 of us. Had a sofa to relax on and plenty of storage in bedroom and bathroom. Balcony was great for hearing water at night.
Ship tip
Get a balcony club suite or better. There is no decent way to keep in touch with your party because the ships chat service doesn’t work well.
Self disembark was totally unorganized with thousands of people trying to get off all at once. Not even by deck just an announcement and everyone scrambling to get off with luggage.
