We will never cruise NCL ever again, and will share this experience to hopefully stop others from spending thousands and having such a horrible cruise.
We all got food poisoning, completely uncooked prime rib and risotto in the Haven, shockingly bad the first few days. It did get better.

What a joke, entertainment was better by the street performers. The comedian got angry when people where getting up to leave from the "family friendly" show when he started discussing pleasing his wife, and sex toys. It was shocking, and then he got mad and said "Oh! I guess that's too much" and abruptly left the stage. What a joke. Entertainment was so far from what NCL was know for, like Blueman group and Cirque du Soleil.

It's an old ship, many maintenance issues even in our 2 bedroom Haven suite. Fowl oder came from the plumbing and we had to keep the door closed and not spend much time in the bathroom. We were unable to use the garden tub because the smell was so bad.

We were unable to use the garden tub because the smell was so bad. Our fridge never worked properly, we had to throw away anything we tried to put in it. Maintenance and butler said non of them work right. Why have such cheap appliances in a "luxury suit", it felt cheap.
Ship tip
Don't do it!Any employees said they've "cut their budgets"... Meaning what you get in services and amenities.
The security literally tried to hold us hostage because the finance department didn't close out the accounts yet. They owed us a refund for the first port shore excursion. We noticed others we being held on the boat too. Security asked us to talk to the finance guy, who said I can't refund your credit card, I'll bring you down cash. Made no sense! I told him that was credit card fraud, I can't take cash, I get points and 3% cash back fory purchases. I would be stealing from my credit card company, and he needs to refund the card. He got angry and hung up on me. I told the security guard they could not hold us on the ship because the finance department didn't do their job. Everyone was furious, it was insane how badly they treated us all on disembarkment.
I've noticed a pattern of quality in cruise line amenities going south since MSC arrived in North America. I'm ok with work MSC for what it is.... But....I feel they have brought the bar lower on a few things. Like customer service etc.
