Great Alaskan Inside Passage cruise by pdtinpdx

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Edge

We are very happy overall with the whole cruise. The one thing we would change if we could would be to have access to free wifi. The cost of the cruise was expensive, and for the line to charge $500 for one week of wifi, we thought, was outrageous.

Beautiful Alaska Cruise by nirelycabrera

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Edge

Great cruise, all and all we enjoyed it. Had a few setbacks, but we made the best of it. Life is all about how you react to situations you cannot control. We had an on-board credit but when we inquired with and guest services, no one had an answer as to where it was it then showed up after the 3rd or 4th day, luckily, we still had enough time to use it on board. Do your homework drink packages are pricey and not worth it in my opinion, we would never drink $700-$1000 worth of any drinks in 1 week, but they do try to sell you this constantly. Otherwise.. the cruise was nice relaxing, and the staff was super friendly and eager to help.

Alaska on Celebrity Edge by Tesoro

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Celebrity Edge

The Edge is a very nice ship. The crew was friendly and helpful. Our cabin view was partially obstructed which we didn’t notice when booking. The itinerary was great. Overall highly recommended.

great cruise and a first time cruiser by seese007

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple

First time cruise experience, really enjoyed most of the trip. Free Bottled water would be nice when leaving ship for excursions without paying for the water.

Breathtaking Second Alaska Birthday Cruise by nickycodes

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Quantum of the Seas

In Summary, our family and friends enjoyed the breathtaking cruise to Alaska. The weather was good and the tours (outside companies) that we took were worth it!! Our favorites were Skagway, Juneau and visiting Seattle.

Alaskan fun by dhoffman9208191

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Quantum of the Seas

We loved the ports on our Alaska cruise, which was the reason we took this cruise. The cities in Alaska are really fun and quaint. There were plenty of things to do for the short time in port. The activities on the cruise were also fun, but the shows and food were only fair.

Breathtaking by missemoo1203016

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Encore

The only negative would be NCL not having great Port location and having to be bussed into town at 3 of the ports.

Amazing Alaska Cruise by rcaribbean

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Brilliance of the Seas

We were a bit sceptical going on the Alaska cruise because of the cold. However, I am so happy we did. The experience was rewarding; which brough back many childhood memories and left with more appreciation for life. I saw the people of Alaska with less than we have but yet very happy. I returned and encouraged my family and friends to add Alaska to their bucket list.

Good service, meh food, and great views by wittlerj

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Noordam

The only reason to go on this cruise is the views of Glacier Bay. If not for these views the cruise would have been a bust. Other than the Pinnacle Grill the food was a bust and the ports were full of jewelry stores and crappy souvenir shops. I can't stress enough how bad the bed was and how tired I was because of it. It looks like the system here is giving my rating a value of 3.8 but if I were giving it an overall score I would give it a 2.8

not worth it by aneilkamboj

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)

Overall we had a memorable trip because we were able to spend time with our family and loved ones. However, it wasn't nearly as smooth and comfortable as other cruises I have been on. Average food, average entertainment, average service.

Fantastic ports- upsetting cruise line by krich89

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Majestic Princess

Itinerary was great and had great time in ports. The majestic Princess is a beautiful ship but the Princess staff was way below average for us. The only staff that would say hello when passing was our room steward. Customer service desk told us lies (and when questioned about said lies told us we were lying or that it didn’t happen) and when my husband asked about the burger bar being open (due to inclement weather) was promptly told to go check for himself. The shore excursion desk staff were even worse constantly blaming third parties on changes to excursions and wanted documented proof for any concern. Would love to cruise Alaska again but will definitely not be with Princess.

Wonderful Ship Experience by bgodwin1985

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Discovery Princess

We loved the ship and Skagway. We would pass on Juneau and Ketchikan next time. As a group we determined the towns are just too crowded when multiple ships are in port at the same time. If they spaced them out more it would have been much more enjoyable.

Unhappy cruisers by jkorican

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Eurodam

This was worst cruise we have ever been on. The ports of call were flooded with 1,000s of people getting off cruise ships. Almost impossible to walk around there were so many people. The food on the ship was terrible. The entertainment was nothing special. Staff at buffet lines were terrible, didn't clean off table quickly, endless waiting for a table. Food was similar to a bad buffet. No water filtration station.
