We loved the ship and Skagway. We would pass on Juneau and Ketchikan next time. As a group we determined the towns are just too crowded when multiple ships are in port at the same time. If they spaced them out more it would have been much more enjoyable.

Food and Dining

Sabatinis was the best. Crown Grill was just ok, would not waste our time there again. Main dining room was fast and food was good. GiGis was good every time. O'Malley's had great drinks and food. Buffet was good if you go early.
Onboard Activities

Trivia was always a good time. It was too cold for pool activities, but we enjoyed the thermal suit.

Cabin / Stateroom

Size was perfect for the 2 of us. Balcony was large with lots of space, even when we had friends with us.
Least favorite port. Glacier was less than exciting and shops all reminded us of ones in the Caribbean where staff stand outside and beg you to come in. Twisted Fish was a great place to eat though. Excellent smoke salmon spread and halibut burger. It was the only saving grace of this port.
There were 6 ships in port on our day there. It was way too crowded to see or do anything enjoyable. We got off the ship, had breakfast and got right back on. Way too many people for one small area. Creek Street was cute.
I go to Alaska every year, since Seattle is close. I never thought the ports were too crowded when many ships are in port, since all those people are on tours and spread all over town, plus many just stay on ship. Of course, many shops resemble the Caribbean shops, since these are cruise ship ports of call, with main difference is no tax in the Caribbean.
