It was OK. Docking at Navy Pier when there were 2 other Ships docked in Key West made for a very crowded Key West. Not being docked downtown like the other 2 ships really distracted from the experience.

We were traveling with friends who had been to Key West many times. Our excursion was self guided by them.

We had issues here due to weather and the ship broke loose and the gangways fell into the ocean. Everyone was either stuck on shore during the storms or stuck on the boat while they had to get them out of the water. Thankfully no one was on it when the gusts of wind hit and broke the boat loose. We ended up with 2 extra hours which was a nice thing for carnival to do since they can’t control the weather.

This port was very nice very clean, had nice shops. Did go on a catamaran snorkeling excursion. The crew mates were very helpful and very nice. It was hard snorkeling because the waves were pounding us and it was cold and windy, And we were 68 feet depth of water and didn’t see many fish just a few barracudas and some bluefish. I would’ve liked to have gone in shallower water where I could see the fish better.
