The parking and the service to the ship, the boarding process, etc. was all great. Get there plenty early and don't expect much for scenery in Galveston. It's a dumpy place.

Galveston needs to upgrade their port. Considering the amount of people traveling, the city should be a shame of the way the port looks.

I hate this port. It is so disorganized and chaotic. Needs a major overhaul in traffic flow to handle megaships. Tip: Texas charges taxes on EVERYTHING. Duty-free does NOT apply in Texas.

I was so paranoid about the fog! On the days leading up to our cruise there were so many delays with the fog and people trips were being cut short d/t the incoming ship being delayed. Leaving out of Galveston is definitely a gamble! I’m so thankful that the sky was clear, blue, and beautiful for us. There was no delay and it was also fine when we arrived back. I think we will definitely steer clear of Galveston, I must say it was a fantastic cruise on the Breeze!!
