A: You can look at your booking confirmation email and if it came from carnival, is located up near the top of the email where your personal information is located. Or, you can download a pdf of the ship’s deck plans and find your cabin on the plan. The... color of the cabin on the plan is what determines the category. There is a key at the top of the deck plan that breaks down the categories. If you booked through a travel planner, they can help you. Happy cruising!See More

A: Try Galveston Express shuttle, they do airport and cruise port rides

Answered by teejay45 on September 18, 2023

A: Never an issue. I’m local, but friends I cruise with can always get an Uber within 10-20 minutes. While Galveston Island is technically small-ish, the Houston/Galveston metro area is massive and local drivers know when ships come in.

Answered by ChristinaRenaud on September 19, 2023

A: I’ve heard Uber picks up outside of the terminal so you would need to walk out to the pick up location. Also heard it’s really expensive, but wouldn’t know how valid that statement is. A: We have been late getting off ship from Galveston twice.Once a barge wreck blocked the port entrance.Once they had issues with the manifest. kept us on-board till almost 10 am. I would say it's too early a flight.

Answered by mary0909 on August 24, 2023

A: I doubt insurance would cover a missed flight in that circumstance. The policy usually includes wording that you allow ample time to make flights. If you were in a car wreck sure but cutting the time close and delayed by traffic, I don’t believe so.
