We took off from here. Its a nice port. Beach is nearby (although it leaves a lot to be desired), good restaurants and museums.

Stayed at Tremont House hotel, easy shuttle to port. Lots to wander and see.

Came in a day before the cruise and stayed at the Hilton along the seawall. Galveston was surprisingly a very nice area. We would actually go back there for a mini vacation. People were very friendly and it has a small town fell to it.

We have been here many times and there is always things to do and see along the sea wall. We went with friends our age and had a great time.

Started off rocky unloading. We went to the 4th floor and was not told or advised it would be on the 1st floor. This would have been nice to know ahead of the day.
