Review summary

Overall, I would recommend this ship, staff, and crew for everything they provide to make a memorable vacation. We would go back to Roatan and Belize but would leave out Cozumel, if possible.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
I can only express this as organized choas. If you have cruised prior to COVID protocals this is nothing like it was trying to get on the ship. Very long lines and it doesn't matter if you have priority boarding (which we did)...we are all lumped up together.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Main dining staff were happy, excited to have people onboard and well seasoned. We went to two specialty restaurants (Italian and Steak) and both were very good. The menus are very different than the main dining rooms but all were equally good.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Serenity Deck area is where we spent most of our sail days. There is a lot to do on this ship and something for everyone but we just wanted to relax during our daytime sail days.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The entertainment staff was awesome! We attended 5 show events and all were incredible.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The service and staff were the best I've ever experienced since COVID began. They truly went above and beyond to make you feel welcomed throughout the entire cruise. Food was fantastic as well.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship was being cleaned around the clock from staff. We never felt surfaces or items were not sanitized or we were in any danger of getting sick while on board. Like many people have stated before my review we were not overly impressed with the Atrium. It's just "ok" but the rest of the ship was well enjoyed.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Our room was always kept cleaned by our housekeeping staff. Bathroom was nice with having a two sinks and bathtub shower. The carpet and chair was a bit stained in a few places (expected) but overall it was a comfortable cabin.

Ship tip

Don't forget cash to tip after excursions

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas

5 out of 5
Came in a day before the cruise and stayed at the Hilton along the seawall. Galveston was surprisingly a very nice area. We would actually go back there for a mini vacation. People were very friendly and it has a small town fell to it.

Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

5 out of 5
This was our favorite stop by far. The people and island were so nice and no one asking us for money or trying to sell us something. Would vacation in Roatan for sure! We ziplined and snorkeled and both were very memorable.

Belize City, Belize

3 out of 5
We went to the ruins with a very good private guide. Belize City (tendered) is run down and poor but it was still nice to get out and see this place.

Cozumel, Mexico

2 out of 5
Did not do an excursion but wish we had. Outside of the port it's not the safest area and would recommend staying in the secured area to shop, do an excursion, or stay on the ship. It's very run down and we were constantly being asked for money or to buy something. I'm retired military and if I felt uncomfortable and always looking over my shoulder I would be heed this recommendation.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
No issues and very smooth compared to embarkation.
