Review summary

While the Vista is not my favorite ship, it is beautiful and has a lot of places to sit either by yourself or with a few others quietly. Plenty of places to eat and drink, and the onboard activities were fun.

Embarkation

We had FTTF so we were able to slip right onto the ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The drinks were good. Fun bartenders The food was pretty good. Our server, Alex, in the MDR was great.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The slides were a blast. Enjoyed the skyride -- it was only a little scary. Did not enjoy the rope course! All the kids seemed to enjoy it, though.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The comedians and the performers in the Atrium were very good.

Service and Staff

Our cabin steward was very friendly and kept us in clean towels and kept our ice bucket full. Every staff member we came across was friendly.

We took off from here. Its a nice port. Beach is nearby (although it leaves a lot to be desired), good restaurants and museums.

While we did not visit the port, we did do the snorkel and starfish island excursion. That was amazing. The crew was outstanding. The reef and island were beautiful. Would do this again!

Cozumel, Mexico

Always love Cozumel! Our excusion this time took us to Playa del Carmen to the Amazing Secret River. Our tour guide, Cecilia, was great! The cave/river was spectacular. A must see and do.
