Really enjoyed our day here. The historical museum close to the waterfront was well worth a visit, and a stroll through the city streets was very relaxing.

There was a free shuttle to York Street Information booth. There was a beautiful library (WiFi) and then we went down York Street (nice WoodWorks store) to old Gaol, museums, and Brig Amity. We walked back along a curved walkway to the Maasdam. There were lots of memorial quotes in the rock work path and an ANZAC Memorial area.

From the pier, free shuttle to Albany CBD, nice little historical town. Or you can Walked to Anzac Museum which took 30 minutes. Great views of the ocean. Cost to see museum cost Aud$25 per person. There’s a nice place to have lunch...

Again, have visited many times. We did not do an excursion. The anzac memorial is a must and easily done by taxi

Took a shuttle into town and took a small bus tour to Torndirrup National Park - spectacular scenery.
