At this port we took a city bus tour that ended dropping us off at a private beach. Although I did get a little sunburned I can claim that I climbed a 90 foot slide and did it, not bad for 50 something-year-old

A huge dump with not much to see but absolutely worth going to if you go to the cave tubing or to the monkey sanctuary. But both of those are over an hour away from the port.

The port area not as nice as others but still enjoyable. Went on the Jungle Buggy 4x4 adventure through the rainforest. The excursion was managed by Chukka. Booked through Carnival cruise lines but they offer many more adventures.

We took a bus tour around Belize City, and stopped at a rum factory. This was not an excursion bought onboard, but bought onshore. The guide was great - very knowledgeable. Then fun shopping in the port area.

Went cave tubing at jaguar paw. Melvin was our guide and this was absolutely amazing. I have recommended this to several people. Lunch was very tasty.

You have to take a tour to get anything out of Belize. Not safe to walk about and no beach to get to on foot anyway.

Didn't do any excursions stayed in the Port area. lots of shops and food places. This is a water shuttle port that take about 20 mins to get there from the ship

This is the one port a tender is used to go to shore. The wait is long and the shopping off the port shops is limited. You can walk a block outside the port area to the left and find local art work.
