Review summary

This was our first cruise with Carnival and we had a good family vacation but after sailing with RC before the attention to details were lacking on this trip. We had a family of 9 sailing our second cruise and for the price we paid we feel we will pay a little more to sail with RC again .

the embarkation went very smoothly. very little waiting around. We were at the port and on the ship within an hour which I thought was very quick

food was ok, I expected better with the cost of the cruise but the cheers package needs work. We were given a hard time when we wanted specific alcohol in a drink and the 15 drink MAXIMUM was also a drag

the staff was nice but the dinner staff seemed to be overwhelmed. The attention to our table lacked a little as we have had much better service on other cruises we have taken.

Ship tip

Make sure you go snorkling in Cozumel as the water is so blue and clear also make sure to go see the monkey and the sloth in Roatan there were Awesome!!

it rained while in Roatan, but we had a great day anyway. We did not due a Carnival excursion but did get a taxi and went to see and play with some monkeys and got to hold a super cute sloth
