The excursion was ok, it was way to long and the place we stopped to eat was not the best. Shouldn't have taken an excursion as the last time I was there....about 10 years ago... there was no town just a dock. The excursion took so long we didn't get to really see the town. :o( I do have to say we did see some cool animals.

Did a separate excursion of snorkeling in Caye Caulker. Two stops: one with nurse sharks and stingrays another with reefs and fish. Not a lot of fish to see. I really wanted a "Un-Belizable" shirt but no one had it. Odd. Save shopping until Cozumel.

This stop was ok. The shopping area was fun with live music and lots of activity. We knew it was a tender port so that didn’t bother us. We did the zoo and city tour - I would not do it again. The zoo was ok-ish. Our tour group was so large that we weren’t able to see the whole zoo, or hear the guide for most of the tour. If you want to do this, I would recommend a private tour.

There isn't a lot to see or do in this port. We did an excursion and had about an hour to peruse the shops upon our return. That was plenty of time before the last tender.

Lots of shopping but not so clean; bathrooms did not have running water.

Belize City is dirty and dangerous. We hired a local company to show us around. Went to a rum company, saw the city, and then ate lunch at a great little place away from the city. But if we went there again i would just stay on and enjoy the ship.

Our snorkel excursion was excellent, however we didn't make it to the mainland due to time restraints. The boats are unable to dock in Belize so the boats used tender boats

After a reef snorkelling trip which was good but not completely clear, we went to Starfish Island which is man made. It was a lovely way to spend a few hours. Upon return to the ship , we decided to take a tender and spend a few hours on the mainland and we loved it. We just walked the streets on foot and took everything in. We loved the people of Belize and found them smiling and friendly. Our experience with picking up a few souvenirs was the opposite of Costa Maya and we left with lovely memories of Belize and the community there.

Enjoyed cave tubing at Jaguar's Paw. Tour guide Alvaro had lots of interesting information to share and guide Noe took us through the cave. We didn't feel rushed and had ample time to swim at the end. Local lunch we delicious. Great experience.

Did not get off the ship because it appeared to be a 20-30 minute boat ride to land. I didn't take that chance on those smaller boats because I know of a situation when a snaller boat somehow got overwhelmed and sunk on a long trip and everyone onboard were drowned
