No excursion! Not much to do here.

No excursion, just road in on the bus, then walked to the area beach which we enjoyed very much. Had an umbrella and chairs, had a wonderful strawberry margarita and just tipped them for letting us sit there. Loved swimming in the water and looking for shells!

It was hot! I just don’t understand why the town is so dirty. The Malecon is starting to get cleaned up. The vendors are everywhere I don’t mind them. Be careful with the beach clubs. They tried to charge us a chair and umbrella fee after we were told we only needed to order food and drinks.

Not much to do. We booked an excursion through the cruise, but it was cancelled (by the cruise the day before) and there was so little other excursions, we were unable to book another excursion. Therefore, we just got off the boat and went into town. Absolutely nothing to do.

I just always feel they could and should do much better here if they wanted to draw in the tourists. We had limited time and decided to walk around, shop and then just hang out at the beach. The beach vendors were expected; but I also expected them to be smarter than to try to sell me something when I'm paying for someone to play music for me. And also gets old when you feel like you're telling the same person four times that you do not want to buy cigars. It also didn't help for the "Buddy's" to try to charge me for a chair and umbrella rental after pulling me off the street and telling me they would be free.
