A: There are some good shops at the port as soon as you get off the ship. We took the bus into town but didn’t stay long... the shops at the port were nicer. Unless we are going on an excursion I wouldn’t go into town again.

A: to far to walk....but they have tram/bus that run back and forth...so no worries..except...there is not much there...we normally take the bus to Merida...fun trip

Q: We would like to visit some Cenotes on our own. Can you get a taxi at the port that will drive you to Cenotes? Or perhaps rent a vehicle?

Q: Do you need to book a excursion here or is there pools and beaches you can relieve at?

A: This stop is more of a pick a bus to go see what you want. Like, ruins, flamingos, merida. There is a beach area right off the shuttle ride to the end of the pier. This is the cheapest place to do your shopping at so bring some money and be ready t... o barter. A 30 minute bust ride to merida is our favorite thing. Costcos, audi dealerships and a city dating back to the 1500s.See More

A: Hi! When I visited we did a city tour on an open bus and did some shopping around, but the beach is a short walk from where the buses drop you off. Check out a few Vlogs that’s out there for this port! Enjoy your cruise!
