Progreso (Merida), Mexico Port Q&A

This stop is more of a pick a bus to go see what you want. Like, ruins, flamingos, merida. There is a beach area right off the shuttle ride to the end of the pier. This is the cheapest place to do your shopping at so bring some money and be ready to barter. A 30 minute bust ride to merida is our favorite thing. Costcos, audi dealerships and a city dating back to the 1500s.

Hi! When I visited we did a city tour on an open bus and did some shopping around, but the beach is a short walk from where the buses drop you off. Check out a few Vlogs that’s out there for this port! Enjoy your cruise!
