I've had mixed experiences on the few Royal Carribean cruises I've been on; but this one was definitely a great experience. I'd definitely like to sail on this ship again
Embarkation

About 15 minutes. No annoying bag check to look at my wine bottles. Couldn't have been much better.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
This was the first cruise I've had in a long time where I can say many of the MDR selections were excellent. Not every thing was great, a few things were bad; but this was some of the best standard cruise food i've had in a very long time. Strangely enough! MDR breakfast was a bit weak. The Windjammer buffet breakfast had better selections and was better food quality. Even though the staff serving in the Windjammer can be slow at times, it was a welcome addition. I would bet it's probably protecting me more against the Norovirus than Covid (which is a good thing in itself)
Onboard Activities

Only two sea days didn't allow for much. Solarium hot tubs were almost always over the posted limit of six - so that didn't work either. Communications on the ship was poor - probably best seen by the many guests In formal attire on the first sea day and not knowing elegant night had been moved. I'd ultimately have to blame the Cruise Director for that problem, so Tornado Tanya will not get good marks.
Entertainment

It was a bit limited due to the covid restrictions. Basically nothing live started up until 8:00 each night. The first-nighter comedy show was almost painful to watch at times. Their holiday show was described as one they put together themselves. It was a bit different! But the performers all did a good job.
Service and Staff

It was all very good. The "other guys" just always seem to have a much more cheerful staff; but I had no negative interactions and nothing I could complain about. When the services were available; I received everything I wanted, when I wanted it.
Ship Quality

The Adventure of the Seas is a beautiful ship. I really like the layout and design. It almost seems like it has everything that the larger Liberty of the Seas does, but in a much more compact and accessible way.
Cabin / Stateroom

This was the first time for a panorama view cabin and I didn't know what to expect. In some ways, I enjoyed it more than a balcony. It was at the front of the ship up on Deck 12. It was very spacious and we had a commanding view of the ocean. On the downside, it was also up front and very high and you can really feel that rocking when we hit rough Seas on the way back.
I just always feel they could and should do much better here if they wanted to draw in the tourists. We had limited time and decided to walk around, shop and then just hang out at the beach. The beach vendors were expected; but I also expected them to be smarter than to try to sell me something when I'm paying for someone to play music for me. And also gets old when you feel like you're telling the same person four times that you do not want to buy cigars. It also didn't help for the "Buddy's" to try to charge me for a chair and umbrella rental after pulling me off the street and telling me they would be free.
