scenery beautiful, very intimidating with police on every corner decked out in full military gear, also driving around.

we just rented our own taxi driver which was the best idea we had all week..he showed us around and we payed him &20/hour but he showed us all the important things then took us tho the best restaurant.Not much to do here though.

I also took a city tour with a local tourist guide and saw the most interesting places (church, golden zone, beach etc.). If you want to buy souvenirs the Golden Zone is the cheapest from all the places.

We enjoyed Mazatlan, went to Senor Frogs and let our hair down after doing some shopping. If you like jewelry, that's the place.

Hired a van and driver with some other passenger friends to take a look at town and see how it has changed since we’ve been here last since we own a timeshare in the northern part of Mazatlan.
