We found a dive shop and rented snorkeling equipment at this port. We went to a local beach withing walking distance of the port and did our snorkeling by the rocks. It was the best of all and even with the tide coming in the water was very clear. The best snorkeling ever. We went to the shop right near the port which was enjoyable. We would have liked to had time to go into town and really see the city and not just the tourist area. Again, I would have liked a little more time in this port.

We didnt book an excursion because the ones we wanted to go on were full so we left a little later. The port was super commercial and definitely built for the drinking and purchasing. If you do want to buy souvenirs this is your best place to do so.

Folks, we love Cabo, we really do, have been 3-4 different times. Beautiful area and beaches. Great restaurants. But the vendors have made the port almost unbearable with their aggressive yelling as you walk by, from face lotions, to glass bottom boats, to whale watching, to jewelry store, to restaurants. If you ignore them, they say something derogatory or curse at you in Spanish. I’m not sure what can be done, probably nothing. Just sad. No excursion here since we had visited before, just walked around, ate some food at Karlito’s Cantina and went back to ship...where it was quiet.

We did make it back to Cabo on Friday instead of the originally planned Tuesday. There was a tropical storm and the port was closed, but our captain was so great and made it so we could still enjoy Cabo even though we had to leave at 2pm.
