We did the dunns waterfall and also the bamboo beach club. Climbing the waterfall is a nice experience. The people are nice, but you actually climb with a group and everyone holds hands. The bamboo beach club was a make shift club on the beach near the boat. It didn't have much of a swimming area, so if you want to hit the beach all day, you may want to check somewhere else

We didn't do the regular tourist stuff here. We had a personal tour guide. I recomend if you can find one when you first get off the boat in the port to do it. We got to see the "real Jamaica" not the too bad areas but we got to go shopping wheren the Jamaican's shopped not the tourist shopped even though we did a bit of that too. We went into neighborhoods and to the jerk "tent" where again the Jamaican's get there jerk. We also were taken to the rain forest and the falls. It was the best of both worlds and worth the money we spent.

We docked at the old pier which was a little disappointing. We did do the private VIP beach excursion and really enjoyed our peaceful day.

You MUST climb the Dunn's River Falls!! This is the best cruising experience we have ever had, including 7 or 8 cruises!! We took a combined Sky Explorer trip, which was awesome. I'm afraid of heights, but this was really incredible and I would recommend this to everyone. We enjoyed every minute of our excursions, but there is a lot of pressure from locals, which could be a little testy. They were very aggressive for the most part. We didn't eat on the island.

Same as cozamel! Constantly dodging people. They will not leave you alone. The scenery is nicer.

Walk around the port area even though it was a rainy day. Did Dunn's River Falls on a previous cruise.
