The shopping is great in cozumel. We went on the Deluxe Beach Break. It was fantastic. The buffet and drinks provided along with all the free activities are worth the extra money as opposed to the lower priced beach break where you will pay for everything.

The Passion island is an ABSOLUTE must! We have been to Cozumel before and went to Playa Mia beach break, it was OK, but Passion Island was 100 times better. Imagine - pristine beach, blue water, hammocks and all the booze you can drink. I don't like to bargain so shopping in Cozumel is not for me.

The sidewalks, stores and restaurants were packed with tourists. Each store seemed to have the same stuff as its neighbor.

There are some great excursions on this island, but if the seas are rough many of them can be canceled which leaves you with shopping in a high pressure crowded city enviroment. The Diamond Inter. sttore was amazing however.

Skip Cozumel and visit the Mayan Ruins in Tulum or visit Playa Del Carmen via ferry.

Diving in cozumel is a must. There are plenty of operators. The water is crystal clear and we could see very far away in every directions. It was awesome.
