Nicely rebuilt after Hurricane Katrina, seen it just after Katrina it was destroyed, again RCL owns their own wharf and shops there..

We went to a resort for the day. Good to get off ship and away from shopping. Our resort looked better in pictures than in person, but there was a lovely beach. Snorkelers saw lots of sea creatures.

we decided to grab a taxi and check out the entire island. We were lucky and got a very personable driver who was very knowelable about the island. He stayed with us the entire time,waiting at every stop! Ofcourse we paid him but it was worth every Penny!

been there before - hot days you do not want to be in the sun. Ruins at Tullum are scorching hot and no shade ---- and is a loooooong excursion.

We have been to Cozumel 10 times so we decided to go to Playa del Carmen, but we did not have enough time there because we had to get back to ship by 6:30 p.m.

Hire your town taxi driver and take a tour around the island. Go to Money Beach for snorkeling.
