Review summary

The good news is that the ship was very clean, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.  Maybe this is just a personal opinion, but the ship was too big for me, and spring break provided us with lots families with children, which made for crowded public areas.   Our room was small but again clean and well appointed.  Our balcony overlooked the orange emergency boats on deck 5.  Not the best view. Other passengers seemed to have better deals and inclusions than we had.  In retrospect, it would have been better to pay a little more for a better room and have more services "percs" included.  Wish we had known. We did hit a patch of bad weather which always puts a damper on warm weather vacations.  It was so windy that sitting or walking on deck was not pleasant.  Would I do it again at that time of year?  NO!

We had 2 days on ship. I expected more organized fun activities on those days.

Cabin / Stateroom

Very small for two beds and a loveseat/bed. Noticed that if beds are combined for king size, room looks and feels bigger.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

One of us lives there, so we did not take a tour.

Key West, Florida

If you haven't been there and pictured a quaint village, take the trolley tour. You get to see that part of town. When you return, there is shopping, restaurants, Margaritas and Key lime pie.

Cozumel, Mexico

We went to a resort for the day. Good to get off ship and away from shopping. Our resort looked better in pictures than in person, but there was a lovely beach. Snorkelers saw lots of sea creatures.

Was just on the Constellation in February, and actually this is a smaller ship in comparison to many others. Also, Celebrity is known to draw an older crowd than certain other cruise lines. On our trip, there were very few children and young people under 30. Considering that this is spring break time I can only imagine that any ship is going to have a higher than normal group of young people.
