Loved this quaint town. Enjoyed Acadia National Park. They have a free bus that goes around the park and one that will pick you up every 15 to 30 minutes at each stop. So we did a self guided tour.

Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park is our favorite place to visit! Breathtakingly gorgeous! We did not participate in an excursion. We walked to Village Green and then took the Island Explorer to various points in Acadia.

Beautiful port, atrocious weather. We were on the tender from hell, #7, and spent 2 hours In choppy seas with no communication from staff about what was happening.

A trip to Acadia National Park is always wonderful, especially on a clear day. We could see mountains 93 miles away from the top of the mountain. Spectacular views of the Maine coast.
