Review summary

We enjoyed the cruise and the cruise experience overall. We had plenty to eat and the food was good. The excursions we did seemed rushed, so not worth what we had to pay for them.

Embarkation

Easy check in with lots of terminals to check in. Didn't wait in line very long.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food was good, but not as good as I've had on other cruises. I didn't like the fact that the buffet was closed at times. We had an excursion that left at 11:45 and didn't get back until 4 and did not feed you anything. There was no where to get a bite to eat before we left the boat.

Entertainment

The comedian and magic show where very good. The girl that told us about the Citidal in Halifax was very informative.

Service and Staff

Our room stewards where excellent and Edward knew everyones names and greeted us everytime we saw him.

Cabin / Stateroom

Loved having the view. Size was great and Edward kept it spotless. My only issue was when we would get close to port we would have a load noice that sounded like it was coming from under our bed that would wake us up.

The Island was amazing. I enjoyed the Lighthouse tours, but it was really rushed. We probably could have gone to a closer lighthouse and not have been as rushed. The winery I could have skipped. Our tour guide was excellent, she told us a lot of history and kept us entertained with little stories.

Sydney, Nova Scotia

The citidel was really amazing. Peggy's cove was beautiful, I would like to go back there. The titanic cemetary was cool. We just felt rushed again on this excursion. We only had like 20 minutes at Pegg's cove our tour guide was very good on this tour also.

Bar Harbor, Maine

Loved this quaint town. Enjoyed Acadia National Park. They have a free bus that goes around the park and one that will pick you up every 15 to 30 minutes at each stop. So we did a self guided tour.
