Bermuda is a wonderful Island but the placement of the ship makes it necessary to walk quite a way to pick up a tour or a cab. Like I mentioned above, when you have ambulation issues it is too far to go to access your bus or cab. The Island itself is very beautiful.

Been here multiple times on the summit. Great port get transportation passes Take ferries to Hamilton and Saint George , Bus to beach. We like to be independent and Almost a.never take ship board excursions This year a shuttle bus service from king's wharf to Horseshoe Bay beach has been instituted it was $7 1 way per person and is well worth it. Horseshoe Beach however has gotten much more crowded than in the past but remains beautiful.

King's Wharf was a great port with a lot of opportunities for shopping and excursions. My only problem with the dockyard is that it's a little far from everything and it's either a ferry ride or an expensive cab ride or a bus ride to do a lot of things like beaches and snorkeling. There are a lot of opportunities for excursions and other things right at the dockyard but it still is a little far from the rest of the island we did the glass bottom boat and snorkeling sturgeon and it was an incredible experience we saw a sea turtles the guys on the boat were very knowledgeable and friendly and we're from Bermuda so they could give us a lot of history it was great.

Not too much to do in the port itself (a few shops, a bar, a restaurant, etc), so you need to leave Ireland Island (where you dock) to get to where more action is.

Beautiful red sandy beach. A little on the crowded side, but plenty of room for all. Food there is the typical fast food - burgers, chicken, fries, etc. Pricey, too. But one has got to eat, right? No sweat! Ocean was warm and clear.

Taking the bus was confusing and hectic with the crowds and many stops within St. George and Hamilton. The visitor center in King's Wharf was helpful.

We really enjoyed Bermuda and plan to travel there again. We stayed in port for three days. Each day we took a taxi to a different beach and enjoyed some snorkeling and sun. The area is beautiful and anyone traveling to Bermuda will really enjoy being there.
