A: I went to Bermuda in September and had 2 days there so on the first day, we did the Bermuda Island Tour by bus which was a great way to see so many different things and the entire island so you can choose which places you may want to go back to the n... ext day, such as Hamilton.See More

A: If you decide to head over to St. George (as mentioned a quaint Old town! make sure you make your way to Tobacco Bay. It is about a 10 minute walk from town but a nice quiet beach.

A: Go off the beaten path! Hit Admiral House Park and Clarence Cove. There are blue holes, a lovely shallow cove, sea turtles, and cliff jumping. It is NOT a touristy spot. When we last visited, there were no facilities, so pack a lunch and wear a diape... r! It can be a trek getting down the hill to the cove, but well worth it. You'll need a taxi from Hamilton.See More

A: The Frog and Onion Pub located at the dock has great food and brew their own beer if that interests you. Note food is pricy in Bermuda. They also sell t-shirts etc.

Q: Some islands sell excursions when you get off of the ship. Does Bermuda do this? Seeing how we'll be there for 3 days we don't have to worry about missing the ship.

Q: Has anyone traveled to Bermuda yet this year? I have a cruise booked this June and I'm a little confused with an email Royal sent regarding us having to order and fill out an authorization form which costs $40 and we need to submit it a month before departure??? And the authorities need to approve if we can come to Bermuda? Is this true? Can someone elaborate more what this means? Maybe I'm reading it wrong? And if its true, since we're on a cruise, shouldn't this be completed before even booking? What happens if they deny me? I can't cruise or get off the ship? Someone explain 🥴

A: Great question.. I’m following.. I’m supposed to be there in 2weeks, received an email from carnival saying information required prior to boarding 🤷♀️

A: Yes, you need a Bermuda Travel Authorization. Google it and you should see a link to www.gov.bm. You can read about the requirements which include proof of vaccination and a Covid test. If you’re cruise isn’t until June, it might not show up yet on t... heir site, but you can still read about the requirements. I’ll be on a May 4th Celebrity cruise to Bermuda, and our ship didn’t show up on their site until end of last week. Seems they’re pretty busy and backed up handling all the administrative aspects of the required authorization. Be patient and good luck.See More

A: i just called Carnival about this. The representative was not aware of this, but he did check with management. He said that carnival will send out emails to all passengers that are cruising to Bermuda as it gets closer to your cruise. The reason they... are not sending them to all passengers too far out is because the rules and regulations are changing so often. They don’t want passengers filling out authorization forms unless they are needed. They said to just keep an eye out for an email from Carnival as it gets closer to your cruiseSee More

A: Harry, I (Joy) am booked through a travel agent, so she will let us know. It is to be their last trip, due to staff retiring. Pandemic cancelled other Bermuda cruises. Blessed cruise!

A: We went to Bermuda two weeks ago on Carnival Pride. We had to have the $40 Bermuda authorization. We sent ours in 14 days prior. We submitted our negative test separately on a Thursday (before our cruise left on Sunday) and got the approval from B... ermuda within hours. We had to show the authorization approval to Carnival at embarkation. After that everything was as usual - nothing different when we arrived at Bermuda and got off. It sounded like a lot but it really wasn’t that bad and Bermuda was worth the extra steps. There is a phone number for Bermuda Port and they are very helpful.See More

A: Bermuda used to have a rail line that has been converted into a hiking and biking trail. The trail doesn't extend all the way to Dockyards but gets close in Somerset Parrish. I haven't done this yet but plan to do so. The photos look online look b... eautiful. Search Bermuda Rail Trail and check it out for yourself.See More

A: From ship to pier entrance is about a quarter mile or so. Only about a tenth of a mile to taxis from ship. Ferries to Hamilton and St. George are just yards to the left of the pier entrance. IIRC, you have to purchase tokens or passes at the Visito... rs Center which is past the ferry landing.See More

A: It is a pier port so you get right off the ship. Once off you have to walk to get to all the shops and restaurants in kings wharf. Once you are by them there is a free trolley that can take you around the complex to see all the shops . There also is... a small beach there with a charge to get on .See More
