A very nice pier, longer than it is wide.

It is a pier port so you get right off the ship. Once off you have to walk to get to all the shops and restaurants in kings wharf. Once you are by them there is a free trolley that can take you around the complex to see all the shops . There also is a small beach there with a charge to get on .

From ship to pier entrance is about a quarter mile or so. Only about a tenth of a mile to taxis from ship. Ferries to Hamilton and St. George are just yards to the left of the pier entrance. IIRC, you have to purchase tokens or passes at the Visitors Center which is past the ferry landing.
