Yes, you need a Bermuda Travel Authorization. Google it and you should see a link to www.gov.bm. You can read about the requirements which include proof of vaccination and a Covid test. If you’re cruise isn’t until June, it might not show up yet on their site, but you can still read about the requirements. I’ll be on a May 4th Celebrity cruise to Bermuda, and our ship didn’t show up on their site until end of last week. Seems they’re pretty busy and backed up handling all the administrative aspects of the required authorization. Be patient and good luck.

i just called Carnival about this. The representative was not aware of this, but he did check with management. He said that carnival will send out emails to all passengers that are cruising to Bermuda as it gets closer to your cruise. The reason they are not sending them to all passengers too far out is because the rules and regulations are changing so often. They don’t want passengers filling out authorization forms unless they are needed. They said to just keep an eye out for an email from Carnival as it gets closer to your cruise

You won’t be able to get off if they deny. They would only deny if you have Covid so you’d be quarantined anyway at that point.

We are going in June too and so far have heard nothing from Celebrity about the travel authorization but other good people on this website have written about it so we know. Waiting for our cruise to show up on the Bermuda site www.gov.bm. We are hoping in May, Bermuda will do away with their money-making rule of requiring a travel authorization.

Harry, I (Joy) am booked through a travel agent, so she will let us know. It is to be their last trip, due to staff retiring. Pandemic cancelled other Bermuda cruises. Blessed cruise!

You can only apply 30 days and closer to your trip. Ridiculous money grab, as the ship has all that info. Especially negative test. So much aggravation!

We went to Bermuda two weeks ago on Carnival Pride. We had to have the $40 Bermuda authorization. We sent ours in 14 days prior. We submitted our negative test separately on a Thursday (before our cruise left on Sunday) and got the approval from Bermuda within hours. We had to show the authorization approval to Carnival at embarkation. After that everything was as usual - nothing different when we arrived at Bermuda and got off. It sounded like a lot but it really wasn’t that bad and Bermuda was worth the extra steps. There is a phone number for Bermuda Port and they are very helpful.
