Originally planned the Sea Plane tour of the Misty Fjord but cancelled due to the recent sea plane crashes. Did a walking tour through the rain forest instead. If you have wilderness where you live you can pass on this tour, otherwise perhaps take it to enjoy a nature walk. Far more Flora than Fauna when we visited.

Ketchikan felt real touristy until we walked a few blocks into town. We found a bar that had amazing burgers for lunch. Walked along the stream and saw thousands of salmon all staging for the spawn. Totem museum was decent, some were extremely old.

If your a Hiker try the Deer mountain trail. Do yourself a favor take a taxi to the trail head.

Did the misty fjords boat tour which was beautiful. Only downside was the tour is 7 hours so no time in the end to explore town.
