I highly recommend cruising to Alaska it was beautiful and we have loved our cruise on celebrity both times we have went.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
Canada place was large and difficult to navigate. We found the check in area but they sent us back to the parking garage to drop off the luggage. We found it very confusing!
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Food was terrific, so much variety.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Not a lot of activities, this ship is geared to an older crowd. The solarium was relaxing adult only area until 4:30, then it gets loud and obnoxious.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Shows were amazing!
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
All the staff were friendly and happy, always went above and beyond.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Ship is older but extremely clean, the staff is always cleaning. Decor was nice, layout was easy to navigate.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
The aft cabin was wonderful, amazing views. Sometimes you would get soot on the balcony and chairs, we would always bring towels from the pool to sit on so your clothes don't get dirty. Our room steward always cleaned it the best they could. There is no roof so if it's raining you can't sit outside. There was no wind at the back, sun was nice and warm and I loved watching and listening to the wake where we sometimes saw whales playing.
I don't like Vancouver, it's very busy and city bus drivers were ignorant and crazy drivers in our experience. Went to the capilano Suspension bridge and it was so packed with people it was not enjoyable. Very beautiful place though.
Quaint little town. Whale watching was amazing, the whales were breaching over and over this day. The tour was very crowded, smaller tour would have been nice.
The glacier was beautiful, we got very close due to the amazing weather we were lucky to have. You could her and see the calving ofthe glacier. They spin the ship so everyone can see.
Awesome fun town lots to do, no need for a tour. Took a bus from the tram to mendenhall glacier. Hiked the nugget falls trail which was very easy, the falls were beautiful. Walked around town and lots of shopping, don't miss the Alaska shirt company!
