We did whale watching and its was wonderful! Again the limited time was prohibitive in seeing things.

We did the tram-AWESOME views!! We visited a dog sled camp. We took a bus to Mendenhall Glacier. We are some great food!! Try the Salmon Spot-DELICIOUS salmon cakes, Tracy’s Crab Shack-crab cakes, and Fish and Chips-fish and chips were wonderful!!

Did the Mendenhall Glacier and Whale watching excursion. Glacier and the waterfall was absolutely stunning and beautiful! Whale watching was exciting, saw humpback Whales twice (only a small part of the whales though;-) and had lunch on a small island „Orca Point Lodge“ before heading back to the shore. Spotted some seals on the way😍

Got here early so took the cable car to the top for a wonderful view and walk around. The town is overrun with the same jewelry stores and scores of tourists from the other huge cruise ships. Mendenhall Glaciers was a zoo.

So much fun!! Go Dog sledding, but book through someone on shore not the cruise line, you won't regret it.

tour stop at Mendenhall Glacier was to short needs to be more then one hour. To many ships at port causing to much congestion. Went up the tram and had to wait 90 minutes in line for the return back. Had I know that would have not taken it.

Loved Juneau! We did a whale-watching tour which was excellent! Saw a group of 8 whales and several bald eagles. After that we went to the Alaskan Brewing company where we listened to a talk about the history of the brewery then got to try some of the beer.

It was really big. Would have liked a shuttle to go all the way to the ship. Went on the whale watching photographing boat with walk on the glacier trail. Loved the excursion. Very interesting, saw many whales, loved the walk on the trail. It was like another planet. Saw a very different view of Alaska's beautiful landscape. Even saw a baby porcupine which was my favorite from the entire trip. Guide entertaining and informative.

Has anyone done the Helicopter Glacier Trek - 2 hour trek excursions thru NCL? I want to know how challenging the trek is and do you have to be in excellent physical shape? I've booked this excursion and our ship leaves in 4 weeks and just waned to make sure I can do without any issues.
