Absolutely beautiful and breathtaking sights, especially Glacier Bay and the lovely port Haines. It‘s a cruise to enjoy the impressive nature.

We booked a suite and enjoyed priority boarding. They even escorted us off the train all the way to the welcome desk.

Very „old fashioned“ design, heavy gold decorations and „interesting“ statues in the suite🤔

Stayed in the Pinnacle suite, VERY spacious with living room / dining area, kitchen and a large balcony with whirlpool, lounge, sunchairs. Great experience!
Ship tip
Book your preferred excursions early, especially the expensive ones with seaplanes, helicopter sightseeing.. are sold out fast
We took the Bear watching by Floatplane excursion. I expected to see some bears like miles awas from the plane.
But it turned out to be our most exciting adventure ever! After exiting the plane, we took a short walk to a salmon hatchery. Right in front of us we spotted several bears hunting for their meal im the river. Absolutely breathtaking view and a truly great experience!
Did the Mendenhall Glacier and Whale watching excursion.
Glacier and the waterfall was absolutely stunning and beautiful!
Whale watching was exciting, saw humpback Whales twice (only a small part of the whales though;-) and had lunch on a small island „Orca Point Lodge“ before heading back to the shore. Spotted some seals on the way😍
We started our 2 weeks Canada / Alaska tour in Vancouver before the cruise and stayed in Vancouver 3 days all in all. There is so much to do and see, didn‘t have enough time for everything.
Hopp in hopp off bus was a great option for us to get an overview over the different parts in the city before exploring some nice places
Most beautiful port ever💕 not too much to do and explore, but we took a walk around the town and went to the museum and some shops.
Booked the river wilderness tour which was okay, but we didn‘t spot any animals or anything interesting, so wasn‘t really worth it
