Wonderful wonderful town. We took the whale watching excursion. We saw 7 whales which they said that was very very rare.

Except for the weather which was on and off rain. This was place was beautiful. Went to see the mendenhall glacier and nugget fall. Plus got to see some whales on the whale watching tour.

The Tracy Arm Fiord excursion was exceptional. The best excursion of the trip. Beautiful views of ice bergs, glaciers and wild life.

We did NCL excursion "Mendenhall Glacier & Whale Quest" and enjoyed it. We had a little over an hour to walk down the path to the falls and take pics of the glacier. The whale watch was nice. Saw lots of humpbacks, orcas and even some seals.

Locals were much nicer. We took a 5 glacier plane ride with Wings Airways. Beautiful and pilot took us for longer than the time allotted to us. Little loud in the plane but very pretty scenery and worth the 265 per person.

I loved Juneau! I thought it was beautiful. We took a $45 bus tour to Mendenhall, did Mount Robert's Tram and ziplined! Ziplines with Alaska Zip line Adventures. Lots of fun, cold and rainy. Just beautiful here!

Juneau is more metropolitan than quaint but folks are friendly. We greatly enjoyed a whale watch ..sighting both humpbacks and orcas! We also visited Mendenhall glacier which was lovely.
