This was a wonderful adventure. Have always wanted to take this cruise to Alaska and would definitely take another one if given the chance. 2 nights in Vancouver, 10 day cruise to Alaska followed by 5 nights in San Fransisco was an awesome vacation.
Embarkation
3 out of 5
There were 3 ships in port at Vancouver so embarkation was very slow and a little bit confusing. We arrived at port around 11:45am from our hotel and it took almost 2 hrs to finally board the ship.

Ship Quality
4 out of 5
The Sun is an older ship and smaller too but we like the smaller ships. Very well maintained and clean.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
We really liked our cabin. It was quiet and well located. Plenty of storage for two and we love balcony cabins.
Ship tip
If you get hungry late at night you can eat at the Sports Bar on Deck 11 aft. The fish and chips is very good.
Beautiful city. We spent two nights in Richmond and took the train into Vancouver on Sunday before the cruise. Loved Gastown which is the old section of Vancouver.
We stayed here for five nights after the cruise. We loved our visit and traveled most of the city by bus and cable car. Hop on Hop off bus tour was wonderful, it takes you over the Golden Gate Bridge and back. Awesome weather and we even got to see the Blue Angels show that weekend. Great food too.
Very smooth, did not take a long time to get off the ship. Port is a short walk to Pier 39 where there was a long wait for a taxi, Taxi stand at port was very crowded.
