Review summary

Overall excellent experience, wish used a different port other than icy straight. Plenty of things to do on the other ports. I loved the overall experience. Ship was amazing and beautiful. Staff was excellent and attentive.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Everything went smoothly and effortlessly.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Ship was beautiful and clean. Food was decent but plentiful and available all hours of the day and night.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
They had plenty of things to do such as rock climbing, basketball, soccer, golf, oversized chess & checkers. But it was mostly cancelled due to weather so no chance to experience. Fitness center was beautiful, need more board games in the card room, theater was huge.

Entertainment

2 out of 5
Most of the shows were decent, needed more variety or better acts. They kept having shows pushing products which was informative but not worth theater space, should just left it in the channel. Loved the deal or no deal, needed more of that as well as the tribute concert.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff were excellent from the room steward to the people serving you during dining. Excellent all the way through.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very clean, beautiful and well maintained. Only problem I had was the jogging track by the court was too narrow and felt if people were playing in the court and hit the net people outside the court could get hit and potentially fall overboard.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Perfect size for my wife and I. Our steward kept our bed clean and even had towels folded as animals which was an awesome touch. Overall the room was aesthetically beautiful and all bathroom stuff was provided which was unexpected and great.

Ship tip

Alaskan cruise I would suggest go mid June to July. Best for whale watching and weather.

Ports of call

Seattle, Washington

5 out of 5
Awesome, great port and amazing city with plenty to do from space needle to pike place market.

Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska Did not visit port

Didn't think there was any thing to do really

Juneau, Alaska

5 out of 5
Except for the weather which was on and off rain. This was place was beautiful. Went to see the mendenhall glacier and nugget fall. Plus got to see some whales on the whale watching tour.

Victoria, British Columbia

5 out of 5
Beautiful, perfect place to walk around with great architecture and shops. Weather was perfect this day and they made boarding and off boarding so simple and fluid.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very organized and fluid. Wish they had told people in writing the night before the time of docking and off boarding.
