Review summary

My husband and I had a wonderful time on this cruise, from the beautiful ship to the food and entertainment and our excursions through NCL. This vacation was epic.

It was very organized. We arrived around noon and dropped our backpacks in our room. We were at Spice H2O with drink in hand at 1:00

Great service and very good food.

Teppanyaki

It was fun and entertaining. To much garlic butter. My only complaint.

Q Texas Smokehouse

We cancelled are reservations at Ocean Blue and decided to eat here instead. It was our favorite.

Onboard Activities

We enjoyed playing Bingo. I won the free cruise at the end of the week. That was exciting. Enjoyed the hot tub. It was to chilly for the pool. The Atrium did get crowed, so we didn’t spend much time there. The observation lounge was awesome.

Bliss Casino

Fun. I know people complain about smoke, but they have an enclosed area on Bliss. I don’t smoke, but my husband does. He works his ass off on a roof in the heat and cold. So if he wants to smoke on a vacation that he pays for he should be able to.

Entertainment

Bliss Theater

Both shows were great. I have been to a few broadway shows and Jersey Boys and Six were just as entertaining, The Beatles show in The Cavern club was good too.

Service and Staff

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Just beautiful and clean. I had never been on a mega ship. I loved it. So much to do.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Very clean. Plenty of storage space. Loved having the balcony. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was a nice size compared to other cruises.

Ship tip

The elevators at the back of the ship are not as crowed as the front elevators.

Ports of call

Skagway, Alaska

Another beautiful day. We went on the train to the Yukon and did the Suspension Bridge. Went back down by bus. Our bus driver stopped at beautiful spots on the way down. The little town set up for shopping was really nice. Since we were there in September at the end of the season everything was half off or more.

Victoria, British Columbia

3 out of 5
Victoria was beautiful and interesting but not here long enough to enjoy. The Butchart Gardens was massive. It was to dark and rainy. Still glad we did this tour.

Seattle, Washington

I liked Seattle. We went to the Aquarium. It was small, but our flight was not till later so it filled the time. We ate at The Crab Pot too. It was fantastic.

Juneau, Alaska

It was a gorgeous day. We went to Mendenhall Glacier/Nugget Falls. Then whale watching. Great day!
