If you are scheduled to visit Glacier Bay, skip the very expensive trip out to Mendenhall.

I visited the city museum. There is an excellent film on the history of the Juneau area, and there are many artifacts from the early days of the city. There's a new distillery in town that is producing a very fine gin.

Visited the Mendenhall Glacier and enjoyed the Whale Watching Quest. Saw several humpback whales, but only at a fairly long distance. Saw numerous sea lions frolicking near the boat. The guides were very helpful.

Another Alaska T - Shirt Company if you missed out in Skagway. Nice little shop down the street a few blocks and one block to the right as you leave port.

Lots of things to do however weather wasn't too good. Would have been better if we had more time in Juneau.
