If you have not taken a cruise to Alaska, DO SO! BEAUTIFUL! Being from Alabama, it is 100 degrees here, Alaska was average of 50 to 60. Gorgeous mountains, ice bergs, Glaciers, and Whale watching. My wife  truly enjoyed the "shopping" experience in each port provided by Norwegian shopper girl Dani. I had interviewed with Norwegian prior to cruise and upon return home, did another interview via Skype and they hired me as Chief Security Officer!!!! Training coming up in Miami and ship to be determined! Hey, somebody has got to to it! Free meals, cabin, great salary and wife can go(she will drop in from time to time but not stay whole assignment each time(6 weeks on, 4 weeks off). Cannot wait! Sort of "final" chapter in our life after retiring from Law Enforcement.

Ship Tip

Loved the Garden Cafe Buffet! If I had to say one negative it would be that Garden Cafe was not open 24 hours. Only restaurant open 24(other than room service which had very limited menu) was Osheenans(English style Pub) which also had limited menu.

Not sure how the Captain did it as Glacier is up narrow channel and the Captain pulled this HUGE ship up right to Glacier. He did a 3 point turn to get back out, Amazing.
Do the Mushers Camp(Iditarod Dogs) camp excursion(If you love dogs). They pull you on wheeled sled and you get to play with them!
