Price Drop

While over-researching my next cruise (Royal Princess 4/9/17) I discovered a $600 pp price drop. I called Princess to find out what my options were. They lowered the base price I paid by $1200 and also readjusted the trip insurance accordingly.

They did, however, take back the $400 OBC package from the original booking.

It is looking like a better cruise already!

A great deal makes it even better

Isn't that his job?!? I'm confused.... he's a TRAVEL...... AGENT..... I would have left too...

The last travel agent I had told me he would check for price drops if he thought about it, but it was my responsibility. That was the first and last cruise I used him for.

I just got with another agent a couple of hours ago who seems eager to help -- I'm looking forward to working with them.

Our travel agent always watches out for price drops but usually I find them first. Of course, as you find out, you may lose some benefits. But it they don't matter to you, go with the lower price. Lucky you.

Always great to get a deal! Congrats!

Actually, it's the first time I got one!

Woohoo!! We haven't had any price drops for our last three cruises.

I really posted just to make sure that anyone else on the cruise was aware of it (not to name names, DebbieBig Smile)

Way to go!!! You are my spirit animal of cruising Big Smile
