Never leave home without your....

Travel documentation and paperwork! Please don't! My heart was breaking as a grown man was in tears because he didn't have his birth certificate and he was trying to receive a message so him and his son could sale... While another woman had to watch her husband and son bored and pace while her friend sped to the port with her passport from Jersey... Take a second check your bags and make sure you have everything. The woman was taking it like a champ saying it was her own fault, but I hate not seeing people sail....

Note* I was leaving work as they were both RUNNING to the gangway with other employees.... I'm just hoping they did not pull the gangway

Cute! Where did you pick it up? I was looking on amazon the other night.

Recently got this and love it because it's lightweight, zips shut, has lots of compartments.

I've mentioned using a packing list.

The cruise paperwork, flight itinerary, back up paper boarding passes, hotel reservation info, airport limo pick up, passport, and currency are all placed in a purple file folder and left on the kitchen island the last thing before going to sleep the night before. In the morning, it is the last thing I put into our carry-on backpack.

I see people with document and ID portfolios and I was thinking I might get one or do something similar... Right now all the paperwork is in a folder.

I keep our passports in a gallon sized ziplock bag. As a cruise approaches, I add all the cruise paperwork, airline papers, hotel reservations, etc.

I always check for the passports – usually a few times. Missing anything else may be inconvenient but no passport would be devastating! Crying

I'll pack my documents in my back pack and inside my luggage bags. The Pass Port is a in my back pack and is verified before I back out leaving home.

I always pack ahead of time and make sure that all documents are in my carry on bag. Please make sure that your passport does not expire for six months after your trip. I know people who pack their ID in their checked luggage. I have a friend who works for Carnival who tells me people all the time forget documents. Don't let this happen to you - double check just before leaving for your trip.

We have a travel wallets that hold our documents. I have a tote bag that holds my travel wallet, medication, valuables. I put them all in the tote, and check a few times to make sure I didn't forget them. We carry our own documents separately. I was a good thing when we got separated traveling to our last cruise (long story). We both made it.

No, I have to go too far to get to the airport from my home.....I would certainly kick myself if I got on the plane and made it all the way to Florida without everything that I needed to board the ship.
