Hello Cruise Friends... I know this is the best place to ask for suggestions on some where to grab lunch in Key West. We are doing the Hop-on-Hop-off and just wandering around for the day. I was hoping that some of you could have some fond memories of maybe some FUN or DIFFERENT places.

Yes, try Sloppy Joe's. Was there last December and really enjoyed it.

because pirates used to use them to remove the rust from their keys

There's 2 locations - we go to the one just a couple of blocks from Sloppy Joes and it's at the corner of Greene and Elizabeth. You can't miss the pale yellow and green building.
Last time we were there, Kermit's had the frozen chocolate dipped key lime pie on a stick and it was delicious. For me, it's so rich and filling that it's a meal, not just dessert. It covers most food groups - fruit, carbs, dairy......

Thanks EVERYBODY for the great ideas and suggestions!!! I'm writing them all down and they will be passed along to my group. They ALL sound delicious!!! I am sure I'll be having some Key Lime desserts for sure. Thanks again and I'm still taking suggestions....
When in Key West we ate at the food truck across from the Shipwreck museum.They have the best Conk fritters. Then go inside the where the stores are. And there is a shop That sells the key lime pie on a stick and 1 pound cookies.My guys love this place. I have not been to a major resturant. We always wait til we get back to the ship to eat. Hey its paid for!
